The room was good and clean apart from the stain on the seat of the chair. I’m an Accor gold member and booked a privilege room with not many privileges. Compared to other mercure hotels I have stayed in. The staff on the reception were fine and a bit unhelpful and without resolution to any of my requests. The restaurant food was very good. I ate here most nights. Breakfast was good too. Staff in the restaurant were very courteous. Having to pay £8 per night for car parking was a joke as it’s free at the future inn in Cardiff bay. If it wasn’t because I was earning point for my stay I would have changed hotel to the future inn

Quick check in, friendly service, nice atmosphere. The sausages at breakfast could have done with a few more minutes. Other than that all good.

Hotel was good, but the parking fee of £8 a day is not really justified due to its remote location. The large car park is managed by a private company. Room was clean and the shower ok. The english breakfast buffet was good too. Nothing exceptional overall.
