On arrival reception not very helpful, very dated Executive Room, paid over £400.00 for 2 nights. Confusion with the signs to make up room, which ended up my partner having to reuse wet towels as he was due a business meeting, so did not have time to contact reception Signs should show make up my room or do not disturb.

Disappointed Stay

On arrival the check in was none welcoming by staff who was not interested in been there, my room was clean, Bed Very hard it was like sleeping on the floor. And distribed sleep with the noise of a fan somewhere in the hotel,

Check in was seamless and the room was nice clean. My daughter loved using the pool and this area was also clean. On checking out there was a bit of a disagreement with the receptionist who said that I had not paid for breakfast on the arrival day. She would not accept that I paid for breakfast for one day and the other day we went out for breakfast. We had therefore only had one breakfast throughout our stay. It was embarrassing. After a couple of minutes of going back and forth she finally agreed that I had paid for breakfast on arrival and therefore did not owe anything more. I wouldn't have minded but when she was saying that I hadn't paid other guests could hear. We are often in Sheffield as we attend events at Ponds Forge. Whilst this interaction was very annoying, because of the pool, we would stay there again as my daughter loved it.
