With a laid-back garden terrace facing the pool, the O'Verde bar and restaurant is a little oasis 10 minutes' walk from the Paris Saclay convention center. There are dishes to waft you away, borrowed from Asian, Mediterranean and world cuisine. The chef's motto is: ingredients from here, flavors from everywhere.

The restaurant's signature recipe, the O'Verde burger with guacamole, parmesan and coppa is a fine example of bold and successful fusion cuisine. The menu is wide-ranging but still favors short food-mile French meats and vegetables, with 90% local ingredients. So you get great times and sustainable cuisine in an unspoiled city oasis. The bar also celebrates regional specialties. Try a cold beer from the organic Marcoussis microbrewery in Essonne, or cocktails made with gin, rum and eau de vie from Île-de-France, for an after-work event in Palaiseau. And the evening boards of regional cheeses, charcuterie and artisan pâtés and rillettes will delight the most discerning palate.

    Working near it, I now have the habit of having lunch at their place very often with colleagues.

    A very warm welcome with a wonderful array of smiles. The service that matches the welcome: patient and attentive staff. Until now, they have never seemed unpleasant to me and that is certainly the main reason that motivates me to come so often at lunchtime!!

    Regarding the dishes, the menu is quite limited, mixing fixed dishes and “dishes of the day/week”. Having had time to taste almost everything, I can confidently say that the cuisine is of quality and will please as many people as possible! The portions are, for the majority of dishes, well measured, not leaving us hungry!

    Regarding the atmosphere, I can say that O’Verde is generally very lively at lunchtime. It has already happened to arrive and no longer have tables available! But beyond the high attendance at lunchtime, the atmosphere remains pleasant. You don't have to shout to hear yourself like in most restaurants.

    Special mention for billiards which helps our digestion 😉

    In any case, thank you to the whole team for the welcome and kindness they show on a daily basis. And a special thank you to Dora who promised me free desserts 😂

    Après 2 ans de fréquentation , je me décide enfin de laisser un petit avis positif sur le restaurant O’Verde.
    Travaillant à proximité de celui ci, j’ai maintenant pour habitude de déjeuner chez eux très souvent avec des collègues.

    Un accueil très chaleureux avec une belle panoplie de sourires. Le service qui suis et à la hauteur de l’accueil : un personnel patient et à l’écoute. Il ne m’ont jusqu’alors jamais paru désagréable et c’est certainement la raison principale qui me motive à venir aussi souvent le midi!!

    Concernant les plats, la carte est assez restreinte mélangeant plats fixes et « plats du jours/ de la semaine ». Ayant eu le temps de pratiquement tout goûter, je peux affirmer de source sûre que la cuisine est de qualité et plaira au plus grand nombre! Les portions sont, pour la majorité des plats, bien dosés ne nous laissant pas sur la faim!

    Concernant l’ambiance, je peux dire que généralement le O’Verde est très animé le midi. Il est déjà arrivé d’arriver et de ne limite plus avoir de tables de disponibles! Mais au delà la haute fréquentation le midi, l’ambiance reste agréable. Il n’est pas nécessaire de hurler pour s’entendre comme dans la plupart des restaurants.

    Mention spéciale pour le billard qui aide à nos digestions 😉

    En tout cas merci à toute l’équipe pour l’accueil et la bienveillance dont ils font preuve au quotidien. Et petit remerciement spécial à Dora qui m’a promis des desserts offerts 😂

    (Translated by Google) Had a pleasant time with my girlfriend, the setting with the outdoor terrace almost made us forget that we were not on vacation and indeed in the Paris region.

    It would be interesting to have evenings with entertainment.

    Regarding the meal, we had the main course and the dessert.

    Concerning the flank steak, we asked for it rare, it was unfortunately overcooked, it was accompanied by sweet potato fries which were excellent!

    We defaulted to a gourmet coffee and a chocolate mousse because there was no more chocolate coulant.

    The menu had not been updated the same for the dish.

    Pleasant staff nonetheless.

    Ps: We ventured to the bottom of the garden and we had a nice encounter, I'll let you guess who with the photos!

    We will come back to see what it does on other dishes.

    Avons passé un agréable moment avec ma copine, le cadre avec la terrasse extérieure nous ferait presque oublier que nous étions pas en vacances et belle et bien en région parisienne.

    Il serait intéressant de faire des soirées avec des animations.

    Concernant le repas, nous avons pris le plat et le dessert.

    Concernant la bavette, nous l’avions demandé saignante elle était malheureusement trop cuite, elle était accompagnée de frites de patates douces qui étaient excellentes !

    Nous avons pris par défaut un café gourmand et une mousse au chocolat car il n’y avait plus de coulant au chocolat.

    La carte n’avait pas été mise à jour pareil pour le plat.

    Personnel agréable malgré tout.

    Ps: Nous nous sommes aventuré au fond du jardin et nous avons fait une sympathique rencontre, je vous laisse deviner avec qui en photos !

    Nous reviendrons voir ce que ça donne sur d’autres plats.
