LOVE staying here. I've stayed at the Mondrian Itaewon off and on over 3 months. Exceptionally clean, smells incredible, Mirabeau Gin at prestige bar with amazing views, brilliant gym/pool, the massages are the best I've had, plus the food in SMT China Room and Taka Japanese is exceptional. Thanks to Billy and James for an outstanding experience every time :)

Lovely brief stay at Mondrian Seoul with check in that was quick and easy. The friendly staff that checked us in was able to provide a great explanation about the hotel facilities and was accomodating to requests like late checkout without prompting. Housekeeping was quick to respond when requested via the hotel online app. The one let down was the coffee at the lobby cafe 'Blind Spot' which was shockingly bad especially in a coffee-obsessed country like Korea. Staff at the cafe were also not overly friendly or helpful which was a slight let down. The pool and gym facilities were great with friendly staff throughout. Overall would happily recommend if wanting to stay in Itaewon and would very much be happy to stay here again.

1. The breakfast restaurant team were extremely unpleasant on Sunday, 14th April - all non-Korean guests were directed to common table (as happened to us) when single tables were clearly available and sitting empty (to be filled by local guests). When we asked to move we were informed (in a rather broken English) that it’s „not possible, reserved” - there were absolutely no reserved signs available whatsoever. 2. We got shouted at by the cleaning man who didn’t like us smoking in front of the „smoking stairs” (it was referred to as such by the ground level crew, since the hotel lacks formal designated smoking facilities), despite the fact that other guests were not. 3. Having to sign for umbrellas - really? 4. The elevators - half of the time they don’t work and when they do work they are very slow. It takes forever to get one. As for the positives - the location is acceptable and the inside is beautiful, the breakfast selection not so bad. We liked the toiletries. But like Shakespeare has written “something is rotten in the state of Denmark”.
